Eduo is a platform that connects, maps, and celebrates nonprofit organizations across the world. We believe that a healthy civil society is built on the strength of its communities—and the nonprofits that serve them.

We started with a simple goal: to make it easier to find and understand the incredible work being done by nonprofits in every country. Whether you're looking for a place to volunteer, an organization to support, or just want to learn more about the nonprofit ecosystem near you, Eduo is here to help.

🌍 What We Do

At its heart, Eduo is a living map of nonprofits. For each country, we maintain a growing database of nonprofit organizations, complete with:

• Easy-to-navigate organization profiles
• Filtering and search by region or area of focus
• Verified information such as mission, founding year, contact info, and more
• Public ratings and reviews in the future (coming soon!)

We currently offer full country versions at:

• cz.eduo.org — Czech Republic
• us.eduo.org — United States
• ...and more coming soon

Our goal is to provide a transparent, accessible, and trustworthy platform for discovering and connecting with nonprofit organizations—whether you’re in Prague, Portland, or anywhere in between.

💡 Why It Matters

Nonprofits are the heartbeat of society. They provide vital services, defend rights, support vulnerable communities, and promote causes from education to the environment. But they’re often underrepresented online—and hard to discover or compare.

That’s where Eduo comes in. We want to shine a light on these organizations and make it easier for people to:

• Understand what nonprofits do
• Find ones that match their values
• Get involved—whether by volunteering, donating, or simply spreading the word

We believe in lowering the barriers between great causes and the people who care about them.

👥 Who We Are

Eduo is a small, mission-driven team with backgrounds in tech, design, civic engagement, and the nonprofit world. We’re based in Europe but work with contributors and supporters globally.

This project is built in the public interest, and our long-term goal is to operate Eduo as a fully nonprofit initiative ourselves.
