After completing his education, Crow worked as an attorney and served in the United States Army for eight years. He deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan as part of the 82nd Airborne Division, earning a Bronze Star for his service. Following his military career, Crow worked as an attorney advocating for veterans and their families. In 2018, Jason Crow ran for the U. S. House of Representatives and defeated the incumbent Republican, Mike Coffman.
