United Handy Can We provide work for the special needs community. About Us Who We Are United Handy Can is a Nonprofit Social Enterprise business established to provide employment for adults with special needs including physical and developmental disabilities autism and Down syndrome. Our mission is to provide sustainable employment for adults with special needs while meeting the needs of local communities. According to the ARC organization a company serving adults with disabilities for 100 years the majority of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities IDD are either unemployed or underemployed despite their ability desire and willingness to engage in meaningful work in the community.
