Schulze Family Foundation gives 5 million to Mayo Clinic for AI healthcare education It is our expectation that AI will greatly assist doctors and surgeons in ways to improve their diagnoses and subsequent actions in saving patients from debilitating disease. The spring 2024 5 million award is a foundation commitment to be paid over five years to Mayo Clinic investing in the development of artificial intelligence educational materials to be used across the Mayo Clinic system.
