2024 VIP Fishing Tournament Canceled Due to Hurricane Helen Damage Oct 1 2024 Press Release Bringing the Joy of Fishing to the Visually Impaired Video Adopt a Fisherman The 2024 VIP Fishing Tournament has been canceled due to extensive damage caused by Hurricane Helene. The threeday event attracts more than 350 visually impaired persons 130 sighted guests and 300 volunteers to the Outer Banks each year for a fishing tournamentandeducational recreational and personal growth opportunities. The NC Lions VIP Fishing Tournament is sponsored by the First Flight Manteo Nags Head Columbia Wanchese and Lower Currituck.
