Special Children’s Charity (SCC) is a nonprofit, located in Central Phoenix (Arizona), dedicated to providing the life skills required for independent living. Our mission is based on a strong commitment to helping teens and young adults who are aging out of foster care. We assist the individual with personal living skills; self-help skills, and community integration while working closely with the youth, encouraging them towards higher education and or developing employment skills. Services include support groups, behavior management skills training, and substance abuse awareness training. The underlying goal of our nonprofit is strengthening and empowering the youth. We considered ourselves the “next step” for the youth.
