Heartwood Educational Collaborative (aka “HEC”) is the fundraising nonprofit associated with the Heartwood Charter School Bothin Program in Fairfax, CA that works toward supporting nature and Waldorf-based educational initiatives for TK-8th grade students. By organizing family donations, throwing fundraising events, and partnering with local businesses, HEC provides funds that can be used to offset rental costs for the unique Bothin campus, support school-wide festivals, make educational trips accessible to all students regardless of ability to pay, and continue to make Heartwood Charter School a special place for students seeking an alternative education in the public realm.
