Welcome to Long Island Children39s Writers Illustrators LICWI We are a notforprofit organization dedicated to the pursuit of writing and illustrating children39s literature. We support guide and nurture budding authors and illustrators as well as established authors and illustrators. Our goal is to create quality works of fiction nonfiction and poetry that educate entertain and inspire children of all ages. To this end we occasionally welcome guests to teach us.
