HOME Join Your Community PLANT A TREE Weengage communities in plantingand stewardingtrees in order to create a more robust and equitable urban forest in Providence. The Providence Neighborhood Planting Program PNPP works in close partnership with the City of Providence to provide free street trees to Providence residents and community groups through our Neighborhood Street Tree Planting Awards. We also train people in young tree pruning and maintenance through our Providence Community Tree Keeper program build awareness of the value and importance the urban forest and tree equity and support communitybased models of tree stewardship to help ensure that everyone can enjoy the benefits of healthy trees where they live work learn and play.
