Welcome to Downtown Sport Collectibles! Building a community to showcase the best of each city's sports memorabilia. The Downtown Soccer Club was established to provide a soccer club experience for young athletes living in the Pico Union, South and South Central communities of Los Angeles where, although the passion and skill set to play the game is high, the economic reality is such that, a large portion of our families are unable to afford the high costs of playing soccer at the club level. To that end, even though all of our coaches are USSF trained and certified, most of them, as well as all of our club administrators are volunteers. We have never nor will we ever turn down a player because of an inability to pay club fees. Unlike most club soccer organizations, which operate on the philosophy of “If you can pay you can play”, our philosophy is simply “If you can play, you can play”.
