Overview

North Hunterdon Youth Baseball (NHYB) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a competitive baseball environment for children between the ages of 4 and 12 years old. It was originally established in 1952 as North Hunterdon Little League (NHLL) and underwent a transition in 2012 to become NHYB.

Programs and Affiliations

NHYB operates under the affiliation of the Babe Ruth League and offers six levels of play, starting with Rookie Ball and culminating at the Major's Division level (Cal Ripken Baseball) for players aged up to 12. The organization is structured to facilitate skill progression as players age.

• Recreation Baseball: Available for children aged 5 to 12, this program focuses on developing fundamental baseball skills while emphasizing fun and sportsmanship.

• Bambino Buddy Ball: A division designed for children aged 5-19 with physical or mental challenges, aiming to ensure inclusive participation in baseball through the assistance of "buddies."
