Our MissionJesus Is Our Savior (JIOS) Radio, a South Carolina 501c(3) Non-Profit Corporation, exists to introduce the widest possible audience of youth, young adult, and youthful listeners to Jesus Christ and focus on building a personal relationship with Him through music, messages, events, promotions, and anything else, as directed by the JIOS Radio Board of Directors.JIOS Radio ValuesJIOS Radio is focused on four values which drive our efforts daily:Love –1 Corinthians 13:1 states that, “If I could speak all the languages of Earth and of angels, but didn't love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal." While we choose to use music to worship and praise Christ, without love for our brothers and sisters in Christ, we would be like the “noisy gong or a clanging cymbal." Matthew 22:37-39 tells us, “Love God with all your heart, and love your neighbor as yourself."Faith –Beginning and following through on any task, especially a BIG one that Christ places on your heart (like creating an online radio station), can seem overwhelming at first. Imagine what would go through your head initially, if God asked you to build the ark instead of Noah. Instead of being self-focused and being a doubting Thomas, we can accomplish anything by placing Christ first in all things. Don't try to do things on your own. 1 Thessalonians 5:24 reminds us, “God will make this happen, for He who calls you is faithful."Hope –We all make mistakes and sin everyday. Sometimes those decisions result with us facing some ugly circumstances. The world alone without Christ can be a scary, depressing, and even dangerous place at times. Isn't it great to know that Christ Jesus is there to walk with us and carry us through life's challenges. Christ died on the cross, forgiving us of our sins by His grace. So remember Psalms 31:24 “So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the Lord" and Jeremiah 17:7 “But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence."Relationship –God doesn't want you to be alone. He made you to thrive when you're connected to Him and with others. Having the right friends can improve your emotional and spiritual health. “So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God." Romans 5:11 John 13:34-35 reminds us, “So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples." Community, when you embrace it, doesn't just help you succeed in your goals, it can bring you joy. Through deep relationships with others, you get to live in the love that God wants to give you.1 Corinthians 13:13 – Three things will last forever – faith, hope, and love – and the greatest of these is love.
