We are a nonprofit organization providing programs to meet the needs of young children, their families, pediatricians, and local child care facilities. Local Smart Start agency that provides programs and services for young children and their families L/GPFC is the Smart Start initiative in Greene and Lenoir Counties. Smart Start Partneships are designed to address child care, preventive health care, and provide family support services. All activities are intended to support the stability and capacity of families with children from 0 - 5 years of age. The Partnership provides leadership in developing effective collaboration among all organizations, agencies, providers and individuals participating in the partnership and its services. The mission is to maximize the comprehensiveness, effectiveness, quality, access, delivery and implementation of services to families and children.
