CHEFS TO END HUNGER

Chefs to End Hunger is a non profit food recovery organization dedicated to recovering surplus food from food service operators as well as wholesalers and distributors, and diverting that food to regional charitable organizations. We were founded by a regional produce and specialty foods distributor called Vesta Foodservice, and they remain our primary logistical partner. Via this partnership, Chefs to End Hunger provides materials for packaging up excess food, transportation, cold-chain logistics, and networking with last mile organizations that provide for their communities in need.

Chefs to End Hunger is about empowering chefs to easily and efficiently use the resources already at their disposal and repurposed food currently going to waste to join in the fight to end hunger and make a real cumulative impact daily. Chefs to End Hunger currently operates in California Nevada and Arizona and aims to one day be implemented nation wide. ABOUT We facilitate the redistribution of prepared food from hotel restaurant and other foodservice customers to local charitable organizations.
