Part I: STATEMENT OF PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS The primary exempt purpose of Friends of Fumbelo, Inc. is to provide support to underprivileged children in the village of Fumbelo, Zambia. The major programs include: educational support, purchase of school supplies, and purchase and maintenance of community property. Programs run year around. Educational Support- This program includes the following major components: Salary support for teachers in a local community school; payment of school fees and tuition to enable children to attend government schools; payment for uniforms, school shoes, exam fees, and other school supplies, Amounts paid as follows: Salary support for teachers in community school: $5,379.80; other expenditures include uniforms, school fees and school supplies. The total number of children who attend community schools is 121. The total number of children who attend Government schools is 79. Total students supported: 200.
