WHAT IS DANCEMOVEMENT THERAPY. The American Dance Therapy Association ADTA defines dancemovement therapy as the psychotherapeutic use of movement to promote emotional social cognitive and physical integration of the individual. Quick Links Diversity Advocacy Social Justice We aim to expand awareness of the power of our stories and the implementation of DanceMovement Therapy as an essential therapeutic modality. As such we will continue to support the voices of those who have been historically underrepresented while motivating and fostering lasting change.
