Foundation for Daviess County Public Schools The highest quality education possible is the single best investment we can make in our children and teachers. The mission of the Foundation for Daviess County Public Schools is to attain and allocate resources to Daviess County Public Schools to enhance enrich and supplement learning opportunities for its students staff and the community. Over the past few months the Foundation has provided funding for large and small district needs. A small sampling of projects is as follows for two vision machines that will allow for vision screening for every preschool and elementary student in the district in partnership with local eye care professionals and the Lions Club title sponsorship of the Daviess County Public Schools Mental Health Summit to support Daviess County Public Schools GrowYourOwnTeacher program for Daviess County Public Schools police vehicles for new physical education equipment at Southern Oaks Elementary School WE ALSO Provided bottled water for Migrant Camp kids for the bus trip home during recent heatwave.
