What is NCAB AALAS. Organized in 1961 the National Capital Area Branch NCAB is the local affiliate of the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science AALAS. NCAB AALAS has grown into a major educational organization promoting improvements in the humane care and use of laboratory animals and the advancements of laboratory animal science. The NCAB serves the District of Columbia Maryland and Virginia.
