Nature is our oldest teacher the outdoors our first classroom. Terra BIRDS was founded to address the challenging educational environmental and socioeconomic issues we are collectively facing through our innovative multifaceted handson education programs that focus on environmental sustainability and youth empowerment. We recognize that a key to make lasting positive changes lies in empowering youth with knowledge skills and selfconfidence that is accomplished through collaborative just and sustainabilityoriented education. We have been providing schools and teachers in Flagstaff Arizona with garden programs that engage students as the stewards of their school grounds urban habitats and garden spaces since 2011.
