American Theatre History- Carried Forward - A theatre of service. To Carry America Theatre Forward - We hope to present plays that will change your life. We've started with the Great Depression era plays of the Group Theatre and have published many of them for the first time. We won't do the 500th production of The Glass Menagerie or The Crucible this year - though they are great plays. At the same time, we won't do old plays just for the sake of doing old plays. We will present work that is current and relevant, and that you most likely have never seen unless you saw the original production in the 1930s.
