Founded in 1990, Sounds of Hope, Ltd. started with a simple idea - unite young children from countries worldwide to make music together. From this idea sprang the Songs of Hope project. Each summer, the project creates a community of children aged 10-12 and young adults from 7-10 countries worldwide and the U.S. While living together, the children develop a concert series of songs, dances, and folk dress from their countries and cultures. SOH is dedicated to teaching the positive aspects of cultural differences.
