The Holocaust Education Foundation, Inc. (HEFI) is dedicated to combating prejudice and bigotry by presenting documented facts about the Holocaust to derive positive lessons how to make this a better and safer world for everybody. HEFI funds the Holocaust Teacher Resource Center Web site; it provides lesson plans and related materials that educators can download and use directly with their students. Also featured on the Web site are video clips in which Holocaust survivors can be seen and heard telling part of their story. Annotated bibliographies and videographies are also included. Future plans include interactive lessons suitable for specific grades.
