Salem United Methodist Church (Morganton)

Over the years, Salem was part of a circuit that included other churches like Gilboa and Denton's Chapel. However, in 1985, Salem became an independent congregation. The church's building history includes a framed structure from the early 19th century, with additions and changes over time. A more modern building was constructed in 1901 under the leadership of Reverend W. W. Amick.
