Childrens Alliance of Montana Uniting Childrens Advocacy CentersOne Voice One Child One Big Difference We are an Accredited Chapter of the National Childrens Alliance Welcome to the Childrens Alliance of Montana CAM The Childrens Alliance of Montanais a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide support training and technical assistance to Childrens Advocacy Centers and MultiDisciplinary Teams across the State of Montana so that every child victim of abuse and hisher nonoffending caregivers has access to the services of a Childrens Advocacy Center and the expertise of a MultiDisciplinary Team. Childrens Advocacy Centers and MultiDisciplinary teams allow for centralized services to children who have been the victims ofor witnesses to crimes. Collaboration between law enforcement child protective services prosecutors medical providers mental health counselors and victims advocates are essential to meet the needs of the children and families who have been affected by crimes. Nationwide 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys are sexually abused prior to their 18thbirthdays.
