THE PURPOSES OF REINSURANCE ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA ARE TO ASSIST MEMBERS IN PROTECTING THE INTERESTS OF THE INDUSTRY; TO ACT AS THE INDUSTRY REPRESENTATIVE BEFORE CONGRESS, FEDERAL AND STATE REGULATORY AND ADMINISTRATIVE BODIES AND COMMISSIONS, AND THE PUBLIC; AND TO ASSIST REINSURERS IN PROVIDING COVERAGE AND SERVICE RESPONSIVE TO THE EVOLVING NEEDS OF PRIMARY INSURERS AND THE PUBLIC BY COLLECTING AND DISSEMINATING INFORMATION AND BY PROVIDING A FORUM FOR THE DISCUSSION AND CONSIDERATION OF THIS INFORMATION.
