According to the World Health Organization 74 of all deaths worldwide 41 million are from chronic noncommunicable diseases. The majority of such diseases however lack critical funding or effective therapies which is in particular the case in low and middleincome countries where more than threequarters of the deaths occur. About ILSC At the Institute for Life Sciences Collaboration ILSC we believe that collaboration and innovation are the best ways to achieve a world free of underfunded noncommunicable diseases. To make the greatest possible impact ILSC applies its expertise and resources in areas of therapeutics diagnostics and research.
