The aims and purposes of MAE shall be to advance the cause of Islam and serve Muslims in the Greater Stockton area so as to enable them to adopt Islam as a complete way of life. Towards this end, it shall follow the Islamic doctrines and belief according to the Sunni school of thoughts to: 1. Arrange and hold congregational prayers and Islamic religious festivals at appropriate times. 2. Promote unity and cooperation among Muslims. 3. Provide Islamic services and develop institutions to meet the needs of Muslims. 4. Endeavor to make Islamic teachings known to non-Muslims. 5. Conduct religious, educational, social, cultural, and other activities according to Islamic teachings. 6. Promote better relations between Muslims and non-Muslims according to Shari'eh rules.
