Explore Possibilities and Create Opportunities Blakes House of Independence is determined to provide opportunities for persons with developmental and intellectual impairments to learn explore and acquire the essential skills for total independence. Introducing Blake039s House of Independence Blakes House of Independence is an advocacy group focusing on adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities who are transitioning into a fully independent and productive life. We build on the uniqueness of each individual to acquire skills for daily living at home work recreation leisure and socialization. Blakes House of Independence offers many services that aid in the transition into the workforce including job readiness training job placement and job trainingcoaching.
