Welcome to Lifelong Learning With Friends: A UT based education 501(c)3 program aimed at adults with disabilities Lifelong Learning with Friends is an inclusive postsecondary education program aimed at adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs). We offer a range of sophisticated academic courses over STEM, liberal arts, and self-development topics. Additionally, we recruit neurotypical University of Texas at Austin undergraduates to attend courses and learn alongside their peers with IDDs. In return, these college volunteers receive experiential diversity equity and inclusion training that will inspire advocacy and disability competence in their future professions.
