Welcoming refugees and immigrants into our community Get Help SHC can answer your questions provide guidance and help you access the support and resources you need to thrive. Volunteer Support SHC fundraising campaigns and donation drives to help refugees immigrants and newcomers in our community who are in need of help. Donate Join us in our mission to provide support and hope to refugees who have been forced to flee their home countries. Programs Solutions in Hometown Connections SHC began in 2017 when a small group of friends neighbors and connections came together to respond to the need to reduce isolation among newcomers and to find meaningful ways for newly arrived families to connect to our community as neighbors and friends complementing what resettlement agencies were able to provide.
