The Tina Q. Richardson Last Dollar Scholarship is intended to help fill the gap between students’ financial aid, and the real costs of attending college to help with expenses such as tuition, books and supplies, computers, room-and-board, including graduation expenses, study abroad, and other miscellaneous college expenses. It is referred to as a “last-dollar scholarship” because it is intended to provide financial support to offset college expenses incurred after primary tuition expenses are covered from all federal, state, institutional, and private educational awards. Our goal is to eliminate college dropout that occurs due to financial distress.
