Supporting Families Building Community Our Mission Alongside Families exists to connect isolated families to local church communities that champion family preservation and thriving. THE PROBLEM Families are being broken apart in our community. When a parent who is isolated faces a crisis such as hospitalization or homelessness their child may enter the foster care system simply because the family lacks a safety net of support. OUR RESPONSE A proven churchled volunteerdriven professionallysupported model that provides a dignifying way for parents to ask for and get help before abuse or neglect ever occurs preventing a child from unnecessarily entering foster care during a family crisis.
