To act as a parent-teacher organization for students, parents and faculty of Helen Keller Middle School (HKMS) and Samuel Staples Elementary School (SSES) in Easton, Connecticut;
To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school and community;
To advocate for strong schools in our community;
To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth;
To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education

Welcome to Easton PTO Welcome to Easton PTO Our Mission The Easton PTO is a volunteer organization dedicated to enhancing the learning experience of our children. We promote programs that enrich and excite our students as well as support the efforts of our parents and teachers. We advocate for and fund initiatives and policies that further the overall and academic wellbeing of Easton children and our school community. The Easton PTO serves two schools Samuel Staples Elementary School and Helen Keller Middle School.
