The Simple Gifts Project seeks to put a smile on the face of a child during a hospital stay. Kids helping kids is the foundation of this project's success. Our mission is to put a smile on the faces of children who are confronted with a hospital stay for a single, chronic, or terminal illness. The Simple Gifts Project packs and distributes special care bags to pediatric patients, and their families, in local hospitals. A second part of our mission is to with schools, scouts, and youth groups to help make this happen. Simple Gifts Project also teaches short kindness lessons to local second graders as part of a kindness and empathy curriculum throughout the school year. Kids helping kids, children spreading cheer to other children, is the foundation for this project's success.
