Now on display. TINY STAGESOpen through May 2025Saturdays 124pmSundays 124pmFREE ADMISSIONThis exhibit is focused on some of the tiniest forms of theatrical performance and storytelling devices. With the introduction of the printing press it became affordable to mass produce printed material and one of the results was sheets of paper with prosceniums scenery and characters which buyers could paint and assemble at home. In the 19th century toy theatre became a huge sensation and people throughout Europe began to stage little tiny shows in their parlors.
