Lilys Haven is a haven for horses that need a better life. My goal is to open the eyes of the public to how majestic, hardy, loving yet frail these beautiful creatures are, through rescue and rehabilitating. We have developed educational programs to teach (people of all ages) the correct ways to care and nurture equine along with the responsibilities of ownership. The program results in a therapeutic experience that creates a bond between human and equine. In addition, we are kicking off programs to help assist military and armed force veterans with equine assisted therapy to support mental health in addition to those who struggle with PTSD.
