Beyond The Reef International is a US based 501c3 that acts as a sister organization to the British Virgin Islands (BVI) based NPO Beyond The Reef. Beyond The Reef works to create an abundant and diverse marine ecosystem within the United States and Caribbean and that simultaneously encourages local community education and pride in the surrounding underwater habitat. Our programs include artificial reef creation, stony coral tissue loss disease treatment, coral restoration, shark tagging and research, cetacean (dolphin and whale) research, and the removal of coastal and shallow water debris from discarded fishing gear.
