PARENT NEXT DOOR

Parent Next Door's mission is to provide supportive services to single parents within a communal environment and raise them out of poverty. The friendships that our participants foster are life transforming for them and their children. Our children will benefit growing up in a communal environment which allows for the sharing of tangible resources as well as a pool of parenting skills. It will be the Parent Next Door participants who ultimately hold one another accountable and on track to succeed. Support and friendships are paramount to a person's mental health and wellbeing, and this is what Parent Next Door offers our participants.

PARENT NEXT DOOR Parenting in Community PARENT NEXT DOOR Parenting in Community Welcome to Parent Next Door Welcome to Parent Next Door Welcome to Parent Next Door Parent Next Door is a newly founded 501c3 nonprofit organization incorporated in North Carolina. We provide single family housing in a communal setting for qualifying mothers who are willing to participate in a babysitting cooperative and receive financial training geared toward home ownership. Parent Next Door owns four adjacent singlefamily townhomes which share a fencedin backyard to make one large play area for their children. Our mothers assist one another with childcare engage in monthly group meetings and regularly convene with a caseworker and financial advisor.
