Closer to Earth Youth Garden is a nonprofit group empowering young people through organic gardening. Our goal is to provide a safe community and personal mentorship creating an alternative to crime gang activity and violence. Empowering atrisk urban youth by creating a secure community that provides the support needed for their healthy development. We prepare youth for the future by fostering leadership respect selfworth public speaking gardening and landscaping skills.
