NCHP's mission is to (1) educate and inspire people of all ages to live healthy lives and to (2) promote healthy lifestyle practices in families, workplaces, and communities.     NCHP was founded in 1994 to provide resources that reduce the health hazards of chronic stress. Its programs emphasize the importance of attending to the complete range of human needs--physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual.     The organization affirms the critical link between individual health and social responsibility. It promotes the common sense principle that healthy people make healthier choices, and healthier choices contribute to a more just and humane world.
