Building A Stronger Community The mission of Youth Family Services YFS is to Value Support and Care for Individuals and Families to Build a Stronger Community. Our Services Emergency Youth Shelter YFS operates a residential center for children from 0 to 17 years old. We provide temporary shelter to homeless youth that are in crisis are runaways push outs or are in DHS or OJA custody. Parents from the local area may utilize the residential center for 24 to 72 hours in a crisis situation.
