Are You a School Representative. Help Young Athletes Showcase Their Talents The Young AfricanAthletes Foundation Roughly 85 of African metro youth participated in sports last year. As talented as they may be only a handful of these children will pursue a career in their particular sport due to lack of infrastructure coaching and mentorship. A few lucky athletes do have the chance to play on semiprofessional teams but only after paying extremely high amount of money typically in soccer for developed programs and schools that most parents cannot afford.
