The Glen Retirement System is a nonprofit, Life Plan Community that has been serving the Northwest L The Glen Retirement System, founded in 1898, grew from one woman's desire to help elderly homeless women. Currently, The Glen owns and operates a continuing care retirement community in Shreveport-Bossier City, Louisiana. The organization is made up of four unique communities offering a range of living opportunities including: independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled care, and short term rehabilitation.
