Purpose The Friends of Bethel Parks and Recreation supports the Parks and Recreation Department of the town of Bethel CT in its mission to teach vital life skills build family unity reduce stress provide safe places to play build selfesteem create memories and to provide space to enjoy nature and increase community pride. It will do this through financial volunteering informational and practical assistance. FBPRs activities will include but not be limited to the following Seeking external funding to maintain promote and improve the parks playgrounds recreational facilities and recreational programs managed by the Bethel Parks and Recreation Department. Coordinating volunteering efforts to maintain and improve parks playgrounds and recreational facilities managed by the Bethel Parks and Recreation Department.
