The ISEWU's purposes is to strengthen relations and promote understanding between East and West through education, primarily in the areas of dance, music, Hatha Yoga, Sanskrit and Ayurveda. What makes the ISEWU unique compared with other educational entities offering similar subject matter is the spiritual and philosophical context in which these topics are rendered. Our goal is to be an holistic center of learning, integrating educational and spiritual values, with emphasis on inner transformation, self awareness and self realization which are, in the philosophy of Yoga, the foundation for world peace and unity.
