Global Legacy Network

Overview

The Global Legacy Network (GLN) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing academic, health, social, and supportive services to youth and young adults in underserved communities.

Mission

The mission of the Global Legacy Network is to empower underserved youth and young adults by equipping them with the necessary resources to become confident, independent, and self-sufficient individuals.

Programs

• Creative Outlet Program: Provides a safe space for youth to express themselves through various art forms. Participants learn mindfulness and coping strategies to manage stress and anxiety.
• eNOugh Program: Focuses on educating youth about dating violence, promoting healthy relationships, and providing access to community resources.
• Global Legacy Explorers Program: Offers youth aged 16-25 opportunities for transformative international service experiences, fostering leadership and cultural sensitivity.
• Path to Prosperity Program: Prepares high school and college students for careers by teaching financial literacy, interview skills, and time management.
• Posh, Pampered and Polished Program: Empowers girls aged 5-13 by building self-esteem and promoting self-care practices.
• Seed to Plate Gardening Program: Educates students on sustainable gardening practices and nutrition to address food insecurity and environmental awareness.
• Drive Wise Program: A service-learning initiative aimed at promoting safe teen driving habits through peer-driven campaigns.
• Youth Empowerment Solutions Program: Encourages youth to take ownership of community safety and social causes through community service projects.

Governance and Operations

As a registered charity, GLN's operations are guided by its mission to serve youth and young adults. Volunteers play a crucial role in supporting these programs, and all applicants must undergo a background check.

Financial Transparency

The organization files annually with the IRS using Form 990, a requirement for non-profit organizations in the United States.
