National Lawyers Guild Arkansas Statewide Chapter the rights of workers women LGBTQ people farmers people with disabilities and people of color upon whom the welfare of the entire nation depends. The work of the Arkansas Statewide Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild is guided by antihate principles of the National chapter Our aim is to bring together all those who recognize the importance of safeguarding and extending the rights of workers women LGBTQ people farmers people with disabilities and people of color upon whom the welfare of the entire nation depends. The NLG was the first bar association to admit minorities and for over 80 years the NLG has acted as the legal arm of social movements and the conscience of the legal profession. The Arkansas statewide chapter was formed in 2020 in response to the burgeoning movement against systemic racism and police brutality and corresponding disregard of the fundamental right to protest.
