McKinney Roots is a food donation garden in McKinney. Our mission is to supply fresh produce to the food insecure by growing and distributing it to local nonprofits, churches, and schools, alleviating hunger with healthful, nutrient-dense food. McKinney Roots is an all-donation organic farm dedicated to ending hunger and food insecurity in Collin County, TX. We grow fresh produce and donate 100% of our harvest to food insecure children and families to help combat hunger in our community. In addition, we rely on volunteers to help us run our farming operations and provide weekly opportunities throughout the year for people to come together and build stronger networks through shared work and learning.
