Disability Rights Advocates - Advancing equal rights for people with all types of disabilities nationwide.

With offices in California, New York and Chicago, Disability Rights Advocates (DRA) is one of the leading nonprofit disability rights legal centers in the nation. Its mission is to advance equal rights and opportunity for people with all types of disabilities nationwide. DRA identifies and dismantles barriers in partnership with a broad network of local and national client organizations, representing people with the full spectrum of disabilities, including mobility, sensory, cognitive, and psychiatric. DRA represents these organizations in complex, system-change class-action cases. DRA never charges its clients for representation. In the organization’s 30+ year history, DRA has taken on hundreds of cases and won almost all—achieving dramatic improvements for people with disabilities.
