Yet we are still eager to change and grow with the challenges presented in our community, as we recognize that we are here to serve God and our neighbors. At CCD we strive to be a welcoming haven and a reliable source of spiritual growth and fulfillment.Located in the heart of Douglaston Village, CCD's facilities are used by many local groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous, the Douglaston Garden Club, the Douglaston Civic Association, the Douglas Manor Association, and the Tuesday Morning Music Club. Hearts in the Community, which offers short-term financial and other assistance to those in need in our community as well as providing holiday dinners to local families each year, and the Blanton-Peale Counseling Center, which offers professional conseling services to the community, both call CCD home.We serve Douglaston and surrounding communities in Queens and Nassau Counties.
